Welcome to Perth Furniture & Fun. By using our website, placing an order, visiting our showroom, or purchasing products from us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.

1. General Terms & Conditions

Product Information

We make every reasonable effort to ensure product descriptions, prices, dimensions, colours and images are accurate. Colours may vary due to lighting, photography and screen settings. Measurements are approximate.

Pricing

All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated. Prices may change without notice.

Ownership of Goods

Goods remain the property of Perth Furniture & Fun until paid in full.

Lay-By Terms

Minimum deposit: 20%.
Maximum lay-by term: 8 weeks unless otherwise agreed.
Regular payments are required.
Lay-bys are interest free.
Customer cancellations may incur a 10% termination fee.
Goods remain the property of Perth Furniture & Fun until paid in full.

Commercial Use

Unless stated otherwise, products are intended for normal residential use only. Commercial use may void warranty coverage.

2. Delivery Policy

Delivery Areas

Perth Furniture & Fun provides delivery services across the Perth metropolitan area, generally covering locations from Two Rocks to Halls Head/Mandurah, with delivery extending east towards Northam.

For freight costs, delivery availability, or regional delivery enquiries, please contact our store before placing an order.

Standard Delivery

Standard delivery generally starts from $50–$99 and includes delivery to the front door or garage only.

Standard delivery does not include:

Stair deliveries
Backyard access where trolley access is unavailable
Inside placement or room setup
Assembly services

For apartments and multi-level buildings, delivery is generally to the verge, lobby, reception area, ground floor or designated loading zone only unless otherwise arranged.

Delivery Timeframes

Orders are generally processed within 1–5 business days.
Estimated delivery timeframe is generally 3–5 business days.

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary during busy periods, stock delays, supplier delays, public holidays, weather events or unforeseen circumstances.

Redelivery

A redelivery fee starting from $50 may apply if delivery cannot be completed due to:

Customer unavailable at delivery time
Incorrect address or contact details
Restricted, unsafe or inaccessible entry
Customer-requested rescheduling

Access & Safety Requirements

Customers must ensure:

Clear, safe and unobstructed access
Pets are secured during delivery
Suitable parking or loading access is available where required

Click & Collect

Click & Collect is available from our warehouse location.
Please allow up to 1 business day notice in some cases for order preparation and transfer.
Customers will be contacted once the order is ready for collection.
Identification and order confirmation may be requested at collection.

Customers selecting Click & Collect must collect the order personally or arrange collection through an authorised representative. Orders placed from outside our service area may be cancelled where delivery or collection arrangements cannot reasonably be completed.

3. Returns & Refund Policy

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Customers may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund where products fail to meet consumer guarantees.

Change of Mind Returns

Perth Furniture & Fun may accept change-of-mind returns within 7 days of purchase, subject to approval.

To be eligible for a change-of-mind return:

Items must be unused and in original condition.
Packaging/boxes must remain unopened.
Furniture must be unassembled.
Proof of purchase is required.

Change of Mind Returns Not Accepted For

Used products
Assembled furniture
Unboxed or opened products
Clearance items unless required by law
Custom orders or special orders
Mattresses, bedding or hygiene-sensitive products where applicable

Return Costs

For approved change-of-mind returns, original delivery charges are non-refundable. Collection, pick-up, transport or return freight charges may apply and are the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed.

Refunds will be processed in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. Payment processing fees charged by third-party providers may not be recoverable by Perth Furniture & Fun.

Damaged or Incorrect Products

Customers should inspect items upon delivery and contact us as soon as possible if an item is damaged, defective or incorrect. Photos may be requested to assist with assessment.

4. Warranty Information

Warranty Coverage

Perth Furniture & Fun provides warranty coverage against manufacturing defects under normal residential use. Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

Damage caused by cleaning chemicals
Improper assembly or installation
Unauthorised repairs or modifications

Commercial Use Exclusion

Furniture sold by Perth Furniture & Fun is intended for residential use unless otherwise stated. Commercial use, rental use, childcare centres, schools, community facilities, accommodation providers or hospitality venues may void warranty coverage.

Child Safety & Egg Chair Warning

Hanging chairs, egg chairs and similar products are designed for normal residential seating use only. They are not intended for standing, excessive swinging, commercial use, childcare facilities or unsupervised child use. Misuse may result in injury and may void warranty coverage.

5. Ex-Display & Floor Stock Items

Ex-display and floor stock products may show signs of prior showroom display, handling, assembly, storage, transportation or customer inspection.

By purchasing an ex-display or floor stock item, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:

Minor scratches, scuffs, marks, dents, fading, fabric creases, stitching variations, loose threads, wicker imperfections and other cosmetic imperfections may be present.
Customers have been provided the opportunity to inspect the product prior to purchase and accept the item in its current condition.
Product photographs may not show every cosmetic imperfection.
These products are sold in their current condition and have been priced accordingly.
Comfort creases, cushion softening, fabric relaxation, leather creasing, minor colour variations, natural timber characteristics, rattan variations and normal showroom wear are not considered manufacturing defects.
No change-of-mind returns, exchanges, store credits or refunds are available on ex-display or floor stock items.
Nothing in this clause excludes, restricts or modifies any rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Delivery of Ex-Display & Floor Stock Items

Perth Furniture & Fun may not offer delivery services for ex-display and floor stock items.

Customers may be required to arrange their own transport and collection from our showroom or warehouse location.

Where available, Perth Furniture & Fun may provide contact details of independent third-party transport providers as a courtesy only. Any quotation, booking, payment, transport arrangement, delivery service, damage, loss, delay or dispute arising from the use of a third-party transport provider is solely between the customer and the transport provider.

Perth Furniture & Fun accepts no responsibility or liability for the acts, omissions, pricing, services, delays, damages or conduct of any third-party transport provider.

Risk in ex-display and floor stock products passes to the customer upon collection by the customer or collection by the customer’s nominated transport provider.

6. Local Perth Price Beat Guarantee

Found an identical item cheaper at a physical Perth retail store? We’ll beat the eligible total price by 1%, up to $100. In-store prices only.

Perth Furniture & Fun aims to provide competitive prices to Perth customers. If you find an identical eligible product advertised at a lower price by an eligible retailer operating a physical retail store in the Perth metropolitan area, we will beat the competitor’s comparable total price by 1%, up to a maximum Price Beat discount of $100 per item, subject to the following terms and conditions.

6.1. Identical Product

The competitor’s product must be new and identical to the product sold by Perth Furniture & Fun, including:

Brand or manufacturer
Model and product configuration
Materials and construction
Colour and finish
Dimensions
Number of pieces
Included accessories
Warranty conditions

Products that are only similar in appearance, but have different specifications, materials, construction, dimensions, colours or configurations, are not eligible.

6.2. Eligible Perth Competitor

The competitor must:

Be an Australian-registered retail business
Operate a permanent physical retail store or showroom within the Perth metropolitan area
Sell directly to the general public
Have the identical product physically available from its Perth store or Perth warehouse
Have the product currently in stock and available for immediate purchase
Offer comparable collection or delivery conditions

Online-only retailers, interstate retailers and businesses without a permanent physical retail store in the Perth metropolitan area are not eligible.

6.3. In-Store Prices Only

The Price Beat Guarantee applies only to a price available through an eligible competitor’s physical Perth retail store.

The following will not be accepted:

Website prices or website screenshots
Online-only promotions
Online quotations
Social media advertisements
Marketplace listings
Prices available only through an app
Prices requiring an online coupon or promotional code
Prices that cannot be verified directly with the competitor’s Perth store

6.4. Acceptable Proof of Price

Customers must provide current and verifiable evidence of the competitor’s price, such as:

A formal written quotation issued by the competitor’s physical Perth store
A current printed catalogue
A current in-store advertisement
A photograph of clearly displayed in-store pricing

A written quotation must clearly show:

The competitor’s business name
The competitor’s Perth store address
The quotation date and expiry date
The product description and specifications
Stock availability
The product price
Delivery or collection charges
The total price, including GST

Perth Furniture & Fun must be able to independently verify the price, stock availability and product specifications directly with the competitor’s Perth store.

6.5. Comparable Total Price

The comparison will be based on the total amount payable, including:

GST
Mandatory delivery charges
Mandatory handling charges
Assembly charges, where compulsory
Any other compulsory fees or charges

Where both products are available for customer collection, the respective collection prices may be compared.

Where delivery is required, the comparison must be for delivery to the same suburb under comparable delivery conditions.

6.6. When a Claim Must Be Made

A Price Beat request must be submitted, verified and approved before the purchase is completed.

The Price Beat Guarantee does not apply:

After an order has been paid for
After a deposit has been made
To previous purchases
Where a competitor reduces its price after the customer’s purchase

6.7. Exclusions

The Price Beat Guarantee does not apply to:

Private sellers
Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree or similar marketplaces
Auction websites
Online-only retailers
Interstate or overseas retailers
Retailers without a physical Perth store
Wholesale, trade, commercial or employee pricing
Membership-only pricing
Clearance, liquidation or closing-down sales
Damaged, used, refurbished, seconds or display products
Floor-stock clearance items
Package deals or bundles where the individual product price cannot be verified
Free gifts, bonus products, cashback or loyalty rewards
Competitor pricing errors
Finance or interest-free promotions
Lay-by or payment-plan offers
Special-order, customised or made-to-order products
Products that are not currently in stock
Prices requiring negotiation
Quotes marked confidential or not available to the general public

6.8. Other Discounts and Promotions

The Price Beat discount cannot be combined with:

Coupon codes
Promotional discounts
Package discounts
Negotiated prices
Loyalty offers
Free-delivery promotions
Any other Perth Furniture & Fun offer

Exceptions may apply where expressly stated by Perth Furniture & Fun.

6.9. Price Beat Discount

Perth Furniture & Fun will beat the eligible competitor’s comparable total price by 1%.

The maximum Price Beat discount is $100 per item.

The discount applies to the eligible product only and cannot be paid in cash, transferred or exchanged for store credit.

6.10. Stock Availability

The Price Beat Guarantee applies only while the identical product remains available from both:

Perth Furniture & Fun
The eligible competitor’s physical Perth store

6.11. Verification

Perth Furniture & Fun may contact the competitor’s Perth store to confirm:

Product specifications
Price
Stock availability
Quotation validity
Delivery charges
Collection or delivery conditions

A claim may be declined where the published eligibility requirements are not satisfied or the competitor’s information cannot reasonably be verified.

6.12. Australian Consumer Law

This Price Beat Guarantee is an additional promotional benefit. It does not exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies customers may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
